Meet Dr. Nelligan
Education
Dr. Kathleen Nelligan is a highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Strathroy, Ontario. After earning her medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2016, she completed a rigorous residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a concurrent Masters of Science at Western. Further refining her expertise, she pursued advanced fellowship training in oncologic and microvascular reconstruction at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, affiliated with the University of Toronto.
Practice
Dr. Nelligan joined the Middlesex Hospital Alliance in 2025 bringing her extensive training and dedication to patient care to the Strathroy community. Prior to this, Dr. Nelligan worked at Bluewater Health in Sarnia where she still holds Courtesy Privileges. She has been an adjunct professor at the University of Western Ontario since 2023.

Dr. Nelligan holds active membership with the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons. She is Board-certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and is a member in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
